Let’s get you back in the round.

Email PunchMate support

No account needed

Workouts, local history and subscriptions work without registration. Sign in with Apple is only for history sync across iPhones.

Purchases stay with Apple

Restore Pro in PunchMate Settings. Manage or cancel billing from your Apple subscription settings.

Audio and workout playback

I cannot hear the coach

  • Open PunchMate Settings and raise the Coach volume.
  • Use Control Centre to confirm audio is routed to the expected iPhone speaker or headphones.
  • Disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth headphones if the route is stale.
  • End any call, voice recording or app session that is using the microphone or audio route, then try again.
  • Force-quit PunchMate and reopen it if iOS has not released an interrupted route.

If PunchMate shows an audio error, include the exact message, iPhone model, iOS version and whether speakers or Bluetooth were in use when contacting support.

Can I use music from another app?

Yes. Set Soundscape to zero in PunchMate Settings, start your external music, then begin the workout. PunchMate's coach cues can mix with supported external audio.

Does playback work with the screen locked?

Yes. PunchMate is designed for background and lock-screen coaching. Calls, alarms and some audio apps may interrupt playback; return to PunchMate and resume when it is safe.

Workouts and progress

Does PunchMate count my punches?

No. Progress shows the strikes prescribed by the workout plan, not detected, performed or landed strikes. PunchMate does not use the camera, motion sensors or HealthKit and does not correct your form.

How do custom workouts work?

PunchMate Pro can build a 10–60 minute session from your chosen discipline, focus and experience. It assembles reviewed movements and combinations from the PunchMate library; it does not invent unsafe techniques.

How do I remove local workout history?

Local history is stored on the iPhone. The current release removes it when PunchMate is deleted from the device. Deleting a cloud account removes synced history but deliberately leaves the local copy in place.

PunchMate Pro

My Pro access is missing

Confirm the iPhone is signed into the Apple Account that made the purchase, open PunchMate Settings and choose Restore Purchases. Keep the app open until the request finishes. If access is still missing, contact support with the product, approximate purchase date and any Apple error message. Do not email a full receipt unless requested.

How do I cancel or change a subscription?

Apple manages billing. Open Apple subscription settings, choose PunchMate and follow the options shown. Deleting the app or a PunchMate cloud account does not cancel an App Store subscription.

How do refunds work?

Purchases are billed by Apple. Refund eligibility and decisions are handled through Apple's Report a Problem service.

Cloud history and account

Do I need Sign in with Apple?

No. It is optional and used only to merge and sync history across your iPhones. Signing out keeps the local copy.

How do I delete my cloud account?

Open PunchMate Settings, find Cloud history and choose Delete cloud account. Confirming removes your Firebase account and synced workout history. Local history remains on that iPhone. If iOS asks you to sign in again first, complete Sign in with Apple and repeat the deletion.

How do I change analytics consent?

Open PunchMate Settings and change “Share pseudonymous analytics”. Turning it off stops future Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics collection. Read the privacy choices section for deletion requests and data rights.

Training safely

Use a clear, non-slip space; train within your ability; keep kicks controlled; and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or unwell.
